Every summer, many San Francisco couples choose Lake Tahoe estates for their weddings. Nestled on the shores of a beautiful Lake, peaceful wilderness a stones throw away, and ease of travel for family and friends to enjoy a vacation in a beautiful location afford family and guests a fun filled weekend. Emily and Nick picked a beautiful estate on the west shore in Homewood for their wedding. While Emily and Nick currently live in San Francisco, they grew up in Lake Tahoe and choosing to get married here was an obvious choice. The flowers were an eclectic mix of color that showered the beach wedding ceremony site and brightened each of the guest tables that was set on the lawn overlooking the Lake. Guests enjoyed a gorgeous sunset and a special cocktail, the blood orange margarita.

The couple had a basket full of colorful Pashminas for guests to wrap around their shoulders during the evening dinner. Below, Nick seeing his bride for the first time walking down the aisle. He was pretty emotional as he glances toward the maid of honor with a smile. From the moment I met this couple on their engagement session shoot, I knew they were meant to be.

Trevor and I captured some beautiful, candid moments between the couple. Moments like these happen once in a lifetime and as their wedding photographers we are constantly observing and recording moments like these throughout their wedding day. It is photos like these that will be treasured in their bridal album forever.

Friends and family celebrated late into the night and the wedding party choreographed an awesome dance routine to the Black Eyed Peas summer sensation, “I Gotta Feeling”.
